๐Ÿ“Œ CALENDAR NOTE

The real-world dates indicate when each championship round will be held. The in-game dates are used exclusively within Automobilista 2 to establish the intended virtual racing environment.

All rounds will follow the official session schedule, with the server opening at 15:00 CEST.

๐ŸŽ๏ธ SIMULATOR SETTINGS & CAR

The Formula Junior Rookies World Tour is a mandatory one-make championship, ensuring that all drivers compete with the same car and that performance is determined by skill, consistency, and race strategy.

๐Ÿ CAR

  • Car: Formula Junior
  • Series Format: Mandatory one-make championship

Every driver will use the same Formula Junior car throughout the championship.

๐Ÿ’ฅ DAMAGE, Driving Standards & Mechanical Failures

  • Damage: Disabled

Minor contacts may be tolerated, but careless impacts will not.

Drivers are expected to exercise caution, respect their competitors, and avoid unnecessary collisions.

This is a rookie championship designed to teach drivers proper racecraft, on-track awareness, and how to complete races cleanly without unnecessary incidents. For this reason, collision and impact damage are disabled. However, mechanical failures remain active in the lobby. Drivers must still take care of their cars and manage them properly to avoid mechanical retirements.

The following mechanical failures may occur:

- Engine Overheating: Holding gears at the rev limiter for too long or setting the radiator opening too low in the setup can cause engine oil and coolant temperatures to rise, potentially leading to catastrophic engine failure, including white or black smoke.

- Dirty Air & Thermal Management: Following another car too closely for an extended period can reduce the airflow reaching the radiator, increasing the risk of overheating. Drivers should be mindful of their following distance and engine temperatures.

- Gearbox & Clutch Damage: Aggressive downshifts, over-revving the engine, or improper use of the manual clutch can damage individual gears or cause transmission failure.

- Tire Punctures & Flat Spots: Heavy wheel lockups and excessive tire wear can lead to flat spots and punctures, negatively affecting handling and potentially compromising your race.

Mechanical failures are active. Drive responsibly, manage your car, and remember that finishing the race is part of the learning process.

โ›ฝ FUEL & TIRE STRATEGY

  • Fuel Consumption: X4
  • Tire Wear: X4
  • Mandatory Pit Stop: At least one pit stop per race

Accelerated fuel consumption and tire wear will be used to introduce a greater strategic element to each race.

Drivers must manage their fuel and tires effectively while planning for at least one pit stop during the 90 Km race.

Pit stop timing, tire conservation, and fuel management will play a crucial role in determining race performance.

๐ŸŒฆ๏ธ WEATHER CONDITIONS

The championship is primarily designed to be run in dry conditions.

However, to reflect the unpredictable microclimates associated with certain circuits, the following rounds may feature a rare and sporadic sector of light rain:

  • Round 04 โ€” Spa-Francorchamps
  • Round 09 โ€” Kansai GP (Suzuka)

Any rainfall will be limited in scope and intensity, creating an additional challenge without fundamentally changing the dry-racing character of the championship.

Drivers should remain prepared to adapt to changing track conditions.

โฑ๏ธ QUALIFYING FORMAT

Each qualifying session will last 15 minutes and will be governed by strict stint and pit-lane regulations.

The format is designed to reward preparation, consistency, and efficient use of track time.

๐Ÿ“‹ QUALIFYING REGULATIONS

  1. Maximum of 2 Stints
Each driver may complete a maximum of two qualifying stints during the session.
  2. Maximum of 3 Laps per Stint
Each stint may consist of a maximum of three laps:
    • Out lap
    • Timed lap
    • In lap
  3. No ESC Returns to the Pits
Pressing ESC to return to the pits during qualifying is strictly prohibited. Drivers must return to the pits by physically driving their car into the pit lane.

Qualifying is about precision, discipline, and making every opportunity count.

Failure to comply with these regulations may result in a penalty from Race Control.

๐Ÿ ON-TRACK CODE OF CONDUCT

The Formula Junior Rookies World Tour is built around competitive, respectful, and clean racing.

All drivers are expected to understand and follow the following regulations throughout practice, qualifying, and race sessions.

๐ŸŒ€ RESPECT THE SLIPSTREAM

The Formula Junior is not heavily affected by slipstream, but making straight-line positioning and defensive driving are important aspects of racing.

To preserve fair and predictable competition:

Repeated changes of direction (weaving) to break the slipstream on straights are prohibited.
Only one change of direction is permitted when defending a position before the braking zone.
Drivers must maintain predictable and respectful positioning when defending or attacking.

Defensive driving should be firm but fair. Blocking, erratic movements, and dangerous reactions to an overtaking attempt will not be tolerated. The same standards apply to drivers attempting to overtake, who must do so responsibly, safely, and without endangering other players.

๐ŸŽ๏ธ ROOKIE TREATMENT

This championship is designed for newcomers and developing drivers. Competition is encouraged, but reckless driving will not be accepted.

  • Aggressive first-lap maneuvers that create avoidable collisions are prohibited.
  • Desperate braking attempts that compromise another driver's race will be subject to penalty.
  • Drivers must exercise patience when attempting overtakes, particularly in crowded sections of the circuit.
  • Race incidents will be reviewed by Race Control when necessary.

Ruining another driver's race through careless or reckless driving may result in a significant penalty.

Race Control reserves the right to investigate incidents and apply appropriate sporting sanctions.

๐Ÿค RACE WITH RESPECT

Every driver shares the responsibility of creating a fair and enjoyable racing environment.

Respect your opponents, respect the track, and respect the competition.

Fast driving is impressive. Clean and intelligent racing is what defines a true racer.
