2x 15 min F3 Sprint Races with Random weather. You will be messaged in the discord server once you have joined the series about what livery you want to drive with. In the discord you can see the teams in #teams channel.
Format:
5 min Practice
5 min Qualifying 1
15 min Race 1
5 min Qualifying 2
15 min Race 2
You do not need to own any DLC to participate in all races of this series.
The livery you choose is the "team" you join, 2 drivers per team. At the end of championship there will be a team champion as well.
If you do not show up to a race while not being registered to a livery in the discord server or not withdrawing from the race on simgrid will automatically get put into the back of the reserve drivers list.
How to register step-by-step:
1. Create a SimGrid account
2. Press enter on this SimGrid series
3. Register with correct car and class, car number does not matter
4. Join the discord server, linked in text above
5. Go to series-announcements channel under the specific series category
6. Scroll up untill you find a message with instructions on how to select livery follow these instructions and registration is complete
Race day schedule:
~18:00 UTC: 1 Hour Practice start.
~19:00 UTC: Drivers briefing in discord.
~19:06 UTC: 5 Min Practice 1 start.
~19:13 UTC: 5 Min Private Qualifying 1 start.
~19:22 UTC: 15 min Race 1 start.
~19:40 UTC: 5 Min Private Qualifying 2 start.
~19:48 UTC: 15 min Race 1 start.
~20:06 UTC: Expected event finish.
Advise:
You can use a mobile app called SIM Dashboard to show extra information such as the current weather, overall fastest lap time, fuel/lap and tire life in %. You do not need the Track DLC in Automobilista 2 to still participate in the online races. AMS2 Allows you to join hosted servers using a DLC track without you privately owning it. Since there also is a 1 hour practice session before the race you can also practice.
