Championship Rules
Welcome to Porsche Trials, a four-round Automobilista 2 championship focused on, clean and competitive racing. Race hard, respect your fellow drivers, and enjoy the competition.
1. Championship Calendar
- Round 1 — November 7: Watkins Glen GP (Inner Loop)
- Round 2 — November 14: Road Atlanta Historic 2005 Short
- Round 3 — November 21: Road America

2. Cars and Splits
- Split 1: Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 3.8
- Splits 2 and 3: Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 4.0
Use the car assigned to your split. Changing cars or joining the wrong split without approval is not allowed.
3. Race Etiquette
Race hard, but keep it fair.
A few basic expectations:
- Leave room when racing side by side.
- Avoid contact and take responsibility for mistakes.
- No intentional contact, blocking, or reckless rejoining.
- If you make contact or cause another driver to lose control, wait for a safe opportunity to give the position back when appropriate.
- Respect track limits and follow the in-game rules.
- Never retaliate against another driver on track.
Accidents happen. Deliberate or repeated reckless driving is a different matter.
4. Championship Scoring
The championship uses the SimGrid FIA Le Mans points preset. Points are awarded by finishing position:

Imola is worth double points, so the points above are doubled for the final round. There are no extra points for pole position or fastest lap.
5. Incidents and Penalties
If you believe another driver has broken the rules, report the incident to the organizers with a replay or video clip and the approximate lap or timestamp.
The organizers will review incidents fairly. Depending on the severity, penalties may include a warning, time or position penalty, points deduction, or removal from the championship.
Please don't turn incidents into arguments in public chat. Let the organizers review the evidence and make the final decision.
6. Technical Issues
If you experience connection problems, crashes, or other technical issues, let the organizers know. A restart or reschedule is not guaranteed and will be decided by the organizers based on the situation.
7. Community Conduct
Be respectful to drivers and organizers both on and off the track. Harassment, abuse, cheating, exploiting bugs, or deliberately disrupting an event will not be tolerated.
8. Final Word
By taking part in Porsche Trials, you agree to follow these rules and respect the organizers' decisions. The aim is to have a competitive championship where everyone gets a fair chance to race.
Good luck, and see you on track!
